On Monday 14th December 2020, Inala Community House Community Engagement team organised a Musical Morning Tea Christmas celebration within our community.
From 10am to 12pm, the celebration was held at ‘Our Place’ Hall (corner of Japonica and Robinia Streets, Inala).
Due to COVID restrictions, we had a limited guest list so thank you everyone for booking your spot in advance!
“Good morning and welcome everyone to our final Musical Morning Tea of 2020! Our Inala Community House team would like to wish everyone a very safe Christmas and holiday season,” our Community Engagement Haley Kiata said.
Ho-ho-ho, even Santa was thrilled to pop by!
Thank you to Ray and his band for the lovely live music entertainment.
Our team also prepared special thank-you gifts for our Musical Morning Tea long-time volunteers: Shirley, Aileen and Desmond. Thank you for your enthusiasm in helping us serve our community together.
For morning tea we offered delicious Christmas cakes and a nice roast lunch for all – great for this rainy morning.

Despite this global pandemic it has been wonderful to spend the few Mondays with you, that we have been able to. 2020 has not been the year that any of us could have imagined but seeing your wonderful faces on the few Mondays that we have, has really helped make this year much brighter.
I wish you, your friends, your family and communities a safe and happy Christmas with all the best thoughts and wishes for a great 2021. At this stage, we anticipate coming back on second Monday (February 8th) of February.
