Finding the right day care for your child can feel like an overwhelming process. The day has arrived all too quickly, where you’re tasked with finding the right environment for your child. There are many factors you take into consideration. My Place Family Day Care has a step-by-step enrolment process that helps make the experience as easy and stress free as we can
- Making an enquiry
Okay, first things first! The first step to joining a My Place Family Day Care educator is making an enquiry. This can be done online through our enquiry form, over the phone with our friendly team or through an educator directly. When you make an enquiry, you will speak to a member of our highly skilled administration team that can guide you through the enrolment process.
- Asking the importance questions
At this initial stage, the My Place administration team will ask you some simple but important questions to help determine the best place for your child that matches your needs. What is important to you? Is it timing and flexibility or is it location?
Every parent has areas that hold greater importance to them when choosing care and there is no right or wrong to these areas. Through these initial questions, our team can establish these areas and use them to recommend the right educator for you.
- Meeting the Educator
Once we have determined your key areas of priority, we will try and organise for you to meet several educators. This isn’t always possible, but we try our best to coordinate this for our prospective families. Once you have made contact, we recommend that you and your child meet with an educator. Here you can get a feel for the environment and see how the educator interacts with your child. We find that this step makes a big difference for parents in guiding their decision.
- Deciding on the right Day Care
Okay, you have met an educator that you like and have both agreed on the care. What’s next? Now, the My Place Family Day Care team will direct you through the enrolment form process and explain any requirements for you to receive your Child Care Subsidy (CCS) payment.
My Place Family Day Care staff have over 90 years of family day care experience and knowledge to help you find the right environment for your child.
