On Friday 31st January 2020, Inala Community House Healthy Ageing Program (SkyLarkers) held our first 2020 Bunnings workshop making fairy gardens with our community.
From 11am, the free event was held at our SkyLarkers centre (20 Skylark Street, Inala), with gold coin donation for afternoon tea.
The workshop had been incredibly popular as we were booked out for space in advance!
We are thrilled to see such enthusiastic response and look forward to planning more similar workshops reflecting our community needs and interests. Please keep an eye out for future free workshops!
We welcomed participants of all ages – from toddlers to seniors – joining us to design their own pot of soil and fun.
Craft projects are a great way to bring our community together, get active, inspire creativity and foster conversations on how we can improve our lifestyle. In this case, introducing more greens into our households and learning to care for nature – starting young!
