On Monday 3rd December 2018, Inala Community House Community Engagement team celebrated Musical Morning Tea Christmas Lunch with all members of our local community.
From 10am to 12.30pm, the celebration was held at Inala Community House ‘Our Place’ Hall (corner of Japonica and Robinia Streets, Inala QLD 4077). We offered a scrumptious three-course lunch for only $15 per person.

“Hello everyone, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our volunteers, members, carers, clients and bus drivers Bert and Jack for all of your support, kindness and friendships throughout the year. Also a very special thank you to Haley and helpers for all you do for Musical Morning Tea.
Together we celebrated Christmas in July, Seniors Week in August, our 40th Birthday Party and all our sausage sizzles. Today we celebrate Christmas in December. Thank you to our entertainers Ray Thompson and Sylvia throughout the year.
Thank you all for supporting Musical Morning Tea and we wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” said Musical Morning Tea Coordinator Shirley Schneider in her official speech.
Thank you to Ray Thompson for providing entertainment for the day. We all enjoyed singing and dancing along to the cheerful Christmas carols.
Entrees (prawn salad) were served at 10.30am then lunch at 11am. The mains comprised of Christmas hams, chicken, roasted potatoes, salads, with dessert options of Christmas pudding and pavlova. Everyone was free to enjoy their choice of cuppa and desserts throughout the event.

For today’s special occasion, our team has toiled hard to prepare a three-course lunch and merry Christmas tunes from Ray Thompson. We hope everyone enjoys yourselves and we look forward to seeing you next year back at Musical Morning Tea,” said our Community Engagement Manager Haley Kiata.
