On Friday 1st February 2019, ‘My Place’ Family Day Care welcomed all our Children, Educators and Families to join our first Playgroup for the year!
Ready to make a splash!
From 9am onwards, we welcomed everyone to join our Pop-Up Playgroup at Providence Splash’n’Play water park (40 Amity Way, South Ripley).
Our Educators Sue Wright, Pat Davidson and Playgroup Coordinator for the day Jodie Rowsell.
“Welcome everyone to the start of our 2019 Playgroups! We thought starting off with some water play was relevant with this summer heat we are experiencing. This park offers fun for the little ones to enjoy a morning out with Fountains Squirts, Spurt Streams, Puddles and more great water play features,” said our Coordinator Jodie Rowsell.
Everyone was advised to bring:
- Wet Clothes and Shoes
- Towels
- Spare Clothes
- Hat and Sunscreen
- Drink Bottle
- Lunchboxes and Picnic Rug
It was delightful to watch all our Educators and Children having fun mingling around. Everyone was freely exploring all the play areas – both wet and dry.
“We chose Splash’n’Play because it’s a great, new, clean and spacious free play area offering various sensory experiences for the Children. It’s wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves. There are free public toilets and showers, with a great café nearby,” said our Coordinator Jodie.
“’My Place’ Family Day Care’s Pop-up Playgroups are held on the first Friday of every month. This year we plan to spread over different regions including Gold Coast, Toowoomba and Ipswich. Keep an eye out to see if we pop up in your area, or come and explore a new area and meet your fellow Educators and Families!” said our Coordinator Jodie.
