On Wednesday 6th December 2017, ‘My Place’ Family Day Care celebrated our 2017 Children’s Graduation and Christmas Party with over 300 in attendance – including 175 Children, 50 Educators and the remaining which were our Parents and Families.
Held at Kruger Baptist Church (2 Henderson St., Redbank), the event started with our Graduation Ceremony at 9.30am.
This year we had a total of 32 little ones graduating from our Family Day Care to prep next year!
Every graduating child was dressed up in a motor board and a bright yellow stole. Everyone had the chance to go onstage to receive a personalised certificate and a photo opportunity to commemorate this little big milestone!
We can tell how proud they were from the beaming faces of Educators and Families. Well done!
After the graduation ceremony, it was time for the Kangagang Show (www.thekangagang.com)!
Hailing from South East Queensland Australia, the Kangagang is a multi-award-winning original Australian themed show that can be enjoyed by all ages. Everyone heartily sang, danced and learned all about our unique Australian animals, stories and cultures.
Besides being entertaining and educational, the show was great hands-on interactive fun too – as children were given multiple opportunities to dress up in costumes and participate throughout the show.
With Christmas around the corner, the Kangagang also included a bonus Christmas special by singing Christmas carols with our excited children.
Finally it was time to Meet the Santa! All Children were excited to line up for a photo and receive an Australian-themed book as a present each.
The event ended with a Picnic at the Grass as everyone got to have a plate, play and socialise.
