Community Engagement: Youth Spring Spectacular

On Tuesday 1st October 2019, Inala Community House Community Engagement team helped organise Youth Spring Spectacular during the school holidays to promote community connectedness.

From 10am-2pm, the free community event was held at PCYC Inala (37 Swallow St., Inala QLD).

We had prepared various fun free activities such as:

  • Jumping Castle
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Cooking Classes
  • Mechanical Bull
  • Face-painting
  • Prize giveaways
  • Photo Booth
  • Crazy Hair
  • DJ and more

Jumping Castle which is always a hit with the children!

We had a professional face-painting fairy on-site to paint many happy faces.

Hold on tight: children and teens queuing up to have a go at the popular mechanical bull ride.

PCYC koala mascot made a special appearance too to the delight of many families.

We were happy to see so many children, friends and families joining us on this fun day out.

Our Inala Community House team was busy serving free sausage sizzle lunch to all.

What a great event for everyone to come together during school holidays to participate in a safe, free and fun community event. It was a real pleasure to serve,” our Community Engagement Manager Haley Kiata said.

We would like to thank our official partner PCYC Inala and other participating community organisations for making this event a success.
