Inala Community House: 2019 Annual General Meeting

On Monday 30th September 2019, Inala Community House (ICH) held our 2019 Annual General Meeting welcoming all ICH members to join us.

From 4.30pm-5pm, the event was held at our ICH Business Centre (38 Sittella St., Inala QLD). Free afternoon tea was provided for all including tea and coffee, sandwiches and cakes.

During the past year, the focus of your Board had been on the continued delivery, improvement and enhancement of the programs and services provided by ICH. One of the new exciting areas ICH is expanding into is the provision of NDIS support services, primarily focused on migrants.

ICH again made a small surplus, as reported in the annual accounts after continuing to upgrade and maintain facilities to support clients, largely through the support of grants from our partners such as the Brisbane City Council. On behalf of ICH, the Board expresses its appreciation to all organisations which have supported ICH throughout the year.

On behalf of the Board I thank our members, supporters, clients and staff for all that you do in strengthening the communities in which we work,“ said our President Janet Cullen during her address.

Thank you to Secretary Irene Clarke for presenting the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting. Also Treasurer Ann Bailey for presenting the audited financial report.
