Since 1975, ‘My Place’ Family Day Care has provided an award-winning Family Day Care service in Queensland. We have proudly served thousands of families with highly affordable and excellent quality child care, winning an overall assessment rating of ‘Exceeding National Quality Standards’.
As of 1 July 2017, the start of the new financial year will undoubtedly see the rise of many Queenslanders’ household expenses, including child care fees.
At ‘My Place’ Family Day Care, we always pride ourselves in putting our children, families and Educators first. As a non-profit organisation, we also endeavour to provide the highest quality child care with the most affordable prices possible. We have listened, empathised and talked to many whose child care costs remain one of their biggest concerns.
This is why we are excited to announce that our Service will endeavour to minimise child care costs on behalf of our Parents and Educators – by maintaining the same levy charges for 2017:
Parent Levy remains at $1 per hour per child for all Queensland areas except Lockyer Valley.
Parent Levy remains at 48cents per hour per child for Lockyer Valley.
Our Educator Levy will also remain at only $20 per week. Hooray!
“My families and I are extremely happy that the levies will remain the same for the new financial year. I told an Educator from another Service and she couldn’t believe it – as many other child care services are actually introducing price increase,” said one of our satisfied Educators Kim Gibson.
