Crafting a good time at SkyLarkers!
Inala Community House Healthy Ageing Program (SkyLarkers) is the proud home of our vibrant Monday and Thursday Craft Groups for many years.
We always welcome everyone to come and get crafty with us – every Monday 10.30am-12pm and Thursday 9am-12pm – at our SkyLarkers centre (20 Skylark Street, Inala QLD 4077).
Recently, we were approached by Les Bryant (former Councillor of Inala) as he had heard of our amazing craft groups at SkyLarkers.
Mr Bryant asked if we would be interested in crocheting 250 red poppies for the upcoming 2019 ANZAC Day event at Blue Fin Fishing Club (www.bluefinfishingclub.com.au), to commemorate selfless heroes who have fallen or still fight for our country.
As a result, our enthusiastic craft groups have been working away to achieve this number as we hope to complete this order by the end of March.
We sincerely thank all our wonderful volunteers for helping make this possible.
