On Tuesday 16th July 2019, Inala Community House Healthy Ageing Program (Acacia Ridge) celebrated Christmas in July with our community.
From 11am, the celebration was held at our Acacia Ridge centre (29 Chardean St, Acacia Ridge 4110). For $10 per person, everyone was welcome with a festive red and green dress code.

“Good morning everybody, thank you all for coming. A special thank you to our participants Val and Christine for volunteering to help prepare the food and set up for today’s event. Food is now hot and ready, so please dig in and enjoy yourselves,” our Community Engagement manager Haley Kiata said in her welcome speech.
The venue was well-decorated according to Christmas theme with joyful Christmas songs playing in the background.
Fresh out of the barbecue grill were chicken kebabs, beef sausages, pork steaks with plenty of onions for taste.
Our team had also prepared bread rolls, various salads and coleslaws and oven-baked potatoes. It’s a feast!
It was wonderful to see all our participants chatting away and enjoying themselves.
