Community Engagement: Multicultural Health Day

On Tuesday 3rd September 2019, Inala Community House Community Engagement team helped to organise Multicultural Health Day to benefit our community.

From 10am-2.30pm, the free community health event was held at PCYC Inala (37 Swallow St, Inala QLD).

The main event aim was to raise awareness about common health issues and healthy lifestyles for all.

Everyone was welcome to attend, particularly those from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds as we had many friendly bicultural interpreters available.

Language support included Vietnamese, Somali, Swahili, Tigrinya, Farsi, Dari, French, Kunama, Kirundi, Amharic, Arabic, Sudanese Arabic, Thai and Laos.
