Hello, my name is Heather. I am a fully qualified professional 'My Place' Family Day Care Educator for 25 years and counting! I am very happily married with two amazing grown-up daughters.

My biggest life passion is working as an Educator because everyday is so rewarding :) Family Day Care's unique small group setting offers plenty of one-on-one time with your child. I can help your child in achieving every milestone - big or small - in their own time with appropriate guidance, respect and encouragement. With my years of experience, I am confident that I am able to quickly bond with your and your child to become part of our 'My Place' Family Day Care family within days of starting care.

Everyday we explore various fun and educational activities like reading, drawing, colouring, writing, dancing, playing and more. We would also go for regular walks around the neighbourhood to explore outside environments in a safe and stimulating manner.

I place great emphasis on balancing inside and outside play with age-development resources to keep your child happy, engaged and learning constantly. Children tend to learn a lot more when they play or have input in what they would like to do that day or week. I am a big listener and highly compassionate in serving your every child need.

Overall I am an honest, caring, flexible, and reliable person. I will also do my best to keep your child in the routine that you have at home so that the transition is a little easier for you. I look forward to working with you and your family.
