Hello, my name is Bernardita. I have been with 'My Place' Family Day Care for 6 years and counting. I chose to become an Educator in order to work from home and achieve my greatest passion for child care. I am married with two grown-up boys. My older son works for the police force and the younger one is an electrician by trade.

As an Educator, my biggest strength is that I aim to make everyday in my care full of fun! We focus on various celebrations, playgroups and a wide range of activities like music, art, craft and more. I also do fun face-painting with the kids. My proudest moment as an Educator is watching one of the children I cared for 4 years got accepted into school early.

My cosy house opens out to a large undercover area where we paint, ride bikes, climb and play to help children in exploring, learning and growing every day. The kids' room in the house is also air-conditioned - especially useful for hot days, with complete Early Years Learning Framework resources and comfortable beds for rest.
